Where Are The Black Students?
This publication was created to question UAL’s lack of diversity and representation among its students.
During my experience while studying BA Graphic Design at UAL Camberwell, I felt that there was an extreme lack of representation of the black community within my course, as there was only one other black student. This publication analyses the statistics of UAL’s ethnic students and questions why there are so few numbers. In an attempt to create awareness of the issue, I have documented the experience of Jubilee Egbueri, a black student within the university, and why he feels UAL should make efforts to increase the number of black students.
